Nike Flyknit Track Spike - London Olympics Launch

Mo Farah Mohamed Farah of Great Britain prepares to compete in Men's 10,000m Final on Day 8 of the London 2012 Olympic Games at Olympic Stadium on August 4, 2012 in London, England.
It’s hard not to miss the bright colored spikes that are tearing up the Olympic Stadium in London. In the image above, 7 runners alone are wearing the highlighter yellow spikes. Nike’s Flyknit Track Spike helped both Mo Farah and Galen Rupp finish the 10k in first and second respectively. Using the same upper as the Nike Flyknit Racer, the spiked option offers runners a narrower fit specifically designed for track performance, as well as dynamic flywire structured zones. The seamless knitted upper is extremely breathable and makes this spike super lightweight (3.9 oz). The Flyknit spike features an engineered Pebax plate with four removable pins and a sharkskin heel pad for enhanced grip and traction.
