Many Mizuno fans will be a little disappointed as the
Mizuno Wave Precision 14 bites the dust. Fortunately, Mizuno will be replacing
it with an amazing new design called the Mizuno Wave Sayonara. As one of the
most anticipated shoes for Fall 13, the Wave Sayonara will be on the lightest
trainers on the market at 8.1 oz. The midsole is comprised of Mizuno’s u4ic EVA
which is 30% lighter than their AP+ compound. Wave plate is found in the heel
for impact protection and a smooth ride. The innovative no-sew upper design
uses printed overlays for a secure fit with minimal abrasion points. Check out

The guys over at RunningWarehouse recently posted a sneak peak of the Mizuno Wave Musha 5. Fans of the
Musha 4 will be pleased to find the midsole component unchanged and still uses
Mizuno’s Wave technology. Mizuno has decided to go with a much more streamlined
upper design with this 5th iteration. Stripping away the number of overlays gives
users a sock like fit and reduced weight. The Wave Musha 5 weighs in at 7.4 oz,
making it almost a full ounce then the previous model. Look for the Mizuno Wave
Musha 5 in January 2013 for $90.
The fourteenth iteration of the Mizuno Wave Creation will
be releasing in Spring ‘13. Little changes have been made to the Creation’s
midsole and outsole, as it continues to feature Mizuno’s Wave technology. Main
changes occur in the uppers design as the Wave Creation 14 will give runners a
streamline design that is much lighter weight. This neutral cushioned shoe has
a 12mm heel-to-toe drop and weighs 11.0 oz.
